Natalee is now 21 weeks. I think she is the cutest thing ever. I love these pics I took today. She is getting ready to crawl so she is pushing up on her arms. She is so ready to go and play with Maycee. In the morning she always tries to wake Maycee up. She scoots over to her, and pulls her hair usually. Maycee always gets mad. I wish she understood how special she is to her.
Here is a rare picture of her smiling with her mouth closed. She usually smiles with her mouth wide open. Her smiles take up her whole face. I can even tell in just her eyes when she smiles because they twinkle.
It is very rare that I get alone time with just Natalee. This was a couple minutes that we got while Maycee was occupied by playing. You never realize how special the alone time you get with your first child, because you it is just a way of life. Now with Natalee I am always trying to give both of them individual attention as well as time together. That is the main reason why three children scare me so much. One more to pay attention to. Holy Smokes that must be hard. Leah your a super mom for sure!!!!
Just another picture of my baby. I can't believe how fast time is going by. In a couple weeks she will be 6 months. That is when it all starts to change. They start moving more, eating more, and wanting you to entertain them more. I will really have my hands full then.
Maycee is doing well. She is getting so big too. The things that we talk about now is so funny. She is on kick of telling me who are boys and who are girls. She has realized there is a difference. Tonight we were talking in the car, and I was asking her who is bigger and smaller than her. She told me she is smaller than all her friends, which I thought was funny. I then had her compare John to everyone. She said he was bigger than everyone. It is funny how you always view your dad as the biggest man in your world. It wasn't until I was in my twenties that I realized that my dad wasn't as big as I have envisioned him all these years. It was cute to see that Maycee sees John as the biggest man in her life.
She is also on a major mermaid kick. She tells me she is a princess and a mermaid everyday. She loves Ariel. I think she is going to be a mermaid for Halloween. Everyday she wants to put on make up, and look like a princess. She says, "I'd be a princess, Mommy." She now also picks out her clothes and dresses herself everyday. She makes John so mad, because she demands to wear certain outfits that don't look right together. I have to say though she is awesome at matching. She will tell you why her clothes match and everything. I never worry about her matching, but she does put funny items together. Like a blouse with sweatshorts.

Natalee does look like you! And looking at that other picture of you with your big wheel, I can really see Maycee too. I love the smiley pictures of Natalee.

Oh Gert, your babies are both so cute and you were such a freaking cute baby! I do think that Nat looks more like you than does Maycee. Maycee just has John's mouth or something- his expressions.

The girls have so much fun with Maycee and pretty soon Tommy and Natalee can do more than scratch each other and bang heads. Fun times!
