Tonight we were driving in the car, and John said the F-word. Right away Maycee said, "Mom, I say oh buck!" Thank God for mispronunciation of words. Could you imagine how bad the F-word would sound coming out of a two year old's mouth. Every day we have to be more careful what we say around her. She listens to everything. I have found myself spelling about a third of what I am talking about around her. I don't know what I am going to do when she understands that too!!
You don't understand how much advertising is geared toward kids until you have a child yourself. Maycee can already read the word disney on anything. Without prompting her she finds it on everything. I got a package from them today, and she came in all excited because the box said disney. She can read it on her shoes, and has even come in while I was on the computer and found it on an ad. I guess it doesn't help that Maycee is obsessed with disney princesses right now. All of her presents she thinks are disney princesses.

LOL...need to start making up new words.
I know what you mean. I find myself spelling words that don't even need to be spelled sometimes.
